Chess Traps and ……..? generation gap

Very interesting article on page 3 of ABC News on fraud and Chess, can be viewed at: http://abcnews.go.com/Sports/story?id=2291853&page=1 sport psychologists and sociologists (and yes, really) have opinions that athletes are trained to take on adversity and the struggle if the allegations of fraud is just another challenge. He also said that over time – whether guilty or not proven – many athletes on the edge of the fans, including specific details, or at least remember that the charges were disputed. More worryingly, they suggest that the incidence of fraud at the top of the many young who idolize sports heroes to copy their behavior. It may also be a generational gap that is at work here. ___________________________________________________ Do they accept your generation is a difference of opinion on winning fairly? I think they nailed it.

I agree. Today's youth are slightly raised to know that you can have everything they want. Celebrities get away with cheating, stealing, lying, etc. and young people who see the show as OK. As a society we can! I do not understand why is it ok for someone who earn millions of stealing something and freedom, while someone who can barely pay the rent goes to jail for stealing food. But today's world. The athletes are in the same category. These things happen because of who they are and people like them to do so.
